Benefit Roller Lash Mascara

So I received this mascara in I believe my Sample Society box.
I have been hearing a lot about this mascara, Everywhere! So why not do a review myself.

I must say I am rather impressed with it.

The wand is not something I am usually a fan of. But I kind of liked it this time. The formula is really nice, goes on smooth and does not flake! It also lasted all day!

Now this mascara is suppose to give you lift up your lashes and give them a lasting curl. So not 100% true. It does give you a bit of a curl, but not something to write home about.

Now I have heard this but have not tried it myself, You are suppose to apply this mascara and then do another coat of a different kind. Yeah why on earth am I going to use 2 different mascaras? Like I said, I have heard other people say this.

A ton of reviews I am seeing, people are not even close to applying this correctly. When you apply mascara you want to coat your lashes. So when you are applying, you want to wiggle your wand into your lashes.... Wiggle, such a technical term... This will help lift them, and give you more of an even coat.

All in all this is a nice mascara...I really do enjoy the formula...Does it give me amazing lashes, well No...Is it worth the money...Not really...But I do like it...

What do you think? Have you had a chance to try this mascara? Any tips on how to give nice, curled lashes?

BirchBox March

This post is going to be a quick one. Sorry! I haven't had a chance to try anything out of this box. Bummer I know. I swear when I receive my next box, I will do a much better review!

So this month I have received 5 items:

1. It's a 10® Miracle Leave-In Product
I have no clue what this is! Ok I had to look...It's a leave in conditioner. I probably will not be using this. My hair tends to get oily all on its own, let alone add something like this to it!

2. Elite Therapeutics Rosemary Eucalyptus Body Crème
I did give this a try while I was working on this post, OMG it stinks!! But it did leave my hands nice and soft. But the smell seriously! I can not use this!

3. BioRepublic Skincare Green Tea Detox Mask Set
Ok I love masks, I can't wait to give these a try!

4. Paula's Choice Resist Moisture Renewal Oil Booster
So this is suppose to be for super dry skin. Can't wait to try this!
5. Jelly Pong Pong GLOW GETTER Polish
I Love getting nail polish! I do not care for the color at all, but I will have to see how it looks painted on.

Ipsy March

Hello Everyone! I'm so sorry I have not done a blog post in a while! I have actually been really sick and am just now able to get back online. Anyway, let me get this review going!

So this past months Ipsy bag was Floral Fantasy. The bag is ok, I don't know kind of reminds me of something my grandmother would like.

Inside I received 5 samples:

1. NYX Cosmetics Butter Lipstick
I was so excited to receive this! I have been wanting to try one of NYX lipsticks for a while now. Unfortunately the color is not even close to being something I would wear. Bummer! But I did wear it for a while, and it's a nice lipstick. Seems to stay put for a while and does stain your lips!

2. Dr. Brandt Skincare, Pores no more anti aging mattifying lotion
Ok this stuff pretty much smells like Vicks. I can feel it on my skin, so it's not something I care to use!

3. Pur Lisse Beauty, Soy milk cleanser and Makeup remover
Humm soy milk....So this is ok..It does remove some of my makeup, but it's not something I need to run out and buy!

4. VINTAGE by Jessica Liebeskind, Illuminating Face Highlighter
Nope, Not even close to being interested in this!

5. Boo-Boo Cover-Up
The name is just funny..But of course the shade is off. So I can't give my real opinion! Darn Ipsy...

So what did you think of your Ipsy bag? I thought mine was ok. I really wish the Butter Lipstick was a better shade for me, and the Makeup remover was nice.

Flicker Box

So one of my readers requested me to do a review on Flicker Box. This is a monthly candle subscription box. It cost $25 for the 1st month, then $34 a month after. My first question why $25 then up to $34?? This box also did take me quite a while to get! The February box was sold out. It also looks like the March box is sold out already too!

Anyway...Inside I found 4 different candles. All candles are handmade, and made in the USA. So that is a plus. This is going to be a rather short review.

I tried to burn the larger tin candles. Yeah the smell started making me sick. They smell of soap and citronella. Sorry not my thing! They do seem to be burning fast, but I only had them lit for about 10 minutes, before I couldn't take the smell anymore.

You do get a pack of 4 tea light candles, and 2 votive candles. Oh and you get a package of matches. I seriously liked the matches more than I liked the candles.

So sorry for the short review on Flicker Box. I just all around did not enjoy this box! I do not believe it is worth the $34 a month. If you are into candles for scent, do not order this subscription. If you are more into soy, handmade, with a strong soap scent....Then this is the box for you....

Conscious Box February 2015

Hello Everyone! So one of my wonderful readers asked me to do a review on Conscious Box. I contacted the company and they were kind enough to let me sample one of the boxes for half price.

Conscious Box is pretty much a Health box. The boxes comes with Natural, Non GMO Products. They offer 2 different types of subscriptions to choose from. The first one is the Plus option (19.95 a month). This comes with more premium and full size products.
The second option is hand selected food, bath, beauty, and home products ($9.95 a month). It's the exact same thing minus, more premium and full size products. You also have the option to choose Classic, Vegan, and Gluten Free.

This was probably the best packed box I have ever received.

Let me get into what I received in my box.

1. Amazing Grass: Amazing Meals (Full size $70 for 30 Servings)
So this is a dietary supplement. My flavor is Cafe Mocha. The package contains 10g of protien, and 6g of Fiber. It's Raw, Gluten Free, Vegan, No sugar added, and Kosher. 100% Plant basted ingredients.
So I have no clue what this is!

2. Greenshield Organic Laundry Detergent (Full size 16.79 for 100oz)
So pretty much this is an organic laundry detergent. Your sample is enough for 1 load of clothes.

3. Dr. Jacobs Naturals
Ok these are Castile Soap. I received 3 different scents. Eucalyptus, peppermint, and almond honey. These are good for daily use such as a body wash, shampoo, facial cleanser, shaving lather, and a mild laundry detergent. Each scent is super strong!

4. Kind Bar (Full size $36 for a case of 24)
So this bar packs 10g of protein and taste like some weird sweet bbq sauce.

5. Mayesa: Cacao Drink, Mint Flavor (Full size $29 for a case of 12)
This drink is Soy, Dairy, and Gluten Free...To be honest glue taste better than this stuff! This was horrific! Left this just disgusting taste in my mouth. I can't even drink anymore to give you more examples of what this taste like! For the love of your taste buds do not buy this!

6. Smarty Pants Kids Complete & Adult Complete plus Fiber (Full size for Kids 29.95 for bottle of 120, Adults 47.95 for bottle of 120)
These were not so bad, flavor wise. I just can not see myself spending 47.95 for vitamins.

7. Wild Garden: Hummus Snack Pack (Full size 2.39 each)
These are cute. In the box you get a little package of veggie chips and a little package of hummus dip. You can easily tear off the corner of the hummus, so you can spread it on your chips. It doesn't taste like a traditional hummus. To me it taste more like it has taco spices added. Not bad...The Veggie chips...You will die before you get the package open...They are not bad either. I actually really like them.

8. Your Tea: Skin Magic (Full size $35 for 60 bags)
Be Careful opening the package! I ripper the top right off of my tea bag!
This tea is made with aloe vera, licorice root, lotus seed heart, and jasmine to heal and beautify irritated or acne prone skin. Yeah ok...I'm honestly not even going to give this a try. This is just my personal opinion. I'm not into tea companies calming they will do different things for your body. Like I said though, that's my opinion.

9.Youth Infusion:
This is a...I have no idea...Some type of vitamin you can add to your water. Claims to help with energy, headache, and curb your appetite to maintain weight loss, oh and lowers blood pressure. Again I'm good. Not going to be giving this one a try either.

So Over All...I'm good. I will Not be ordering this as a subscription box. The only thing I like in this box was the Veggie chips & Hummus. Everything else was a Huge miss!
Even though I was give a discount, I am NOT and NEVER Will be paid to give a Good Review. My Reviews are MY own Opinion. Discounts and Free products will never cause me to give a positive review. That crap is Not my style!

Ipsy February 2015

I Finally got my Ipsy Bag this month. It was suppose to be here Friday, but I just got it today, Tuesday.

So this month's theme is Ipsy Love.
I received 5 different items this month.

1. Cargo Cosmetics Mini Lip Gloss

Ok this shade looks like something Barbie would wear!! It is so horrible on me, it's not even funny! The formula is rather sticky. NOT for me!

2. Joya Composition No. 1 Parfum Oil

I really thought this was a joke. This is such a TINY bottle. You probably can't even see the picture. Honestly this stinks. Not even close to being something I would even consider wearing.

3. Luxie Beauty Large Angled Face Brush 504

This is a nice angled brush. The bristles are nice and soft. I'm not a fan of the hot pink handle but I can live with that. This is probably going to be a brush I use for my Halloween makeup.

4. ModelCo Blush

This is in the shade Peach Bellini. Again not my color. Once you have this blush on, it has a shimmer and almost an orangey shade to it. It is a smooth formula and seems to stay on well.

5. 'Tini Beauty Rob Scheppy for 'Tini Beauty Eyeshadow

This is just not my bag at all. This eyeshadow is in the shade Pearl Fizz. It's almost a champagne color in the container, but once on your skin it looks silver. Very shimmery (what's up with Ipsy and their shimmer eyeshadows??). It is smooth, but come off extremely easy!

I'm honestly Not even close to being happy with my Ipsy Bag this month. I'm really considering cancelling the subscription. I have tried to change my profile so many times, but I'm still getting shades that do not look good on my skin tone.

Bark Box February 2015

My dogs were really excited to see this month's Bark Box. The theme is Mardi Gras!
The box is a little bit of a hot mess. My dogs were so excited they knocked it right out of my hand!

Inside they received 5 items.

1. Feel Good Treat Company Cajun Jambalaya ($7)

This is a cute little hard treat. They are oven baked with chicken, pork, and shrimp. They are also gluten free. My dogs didn't care for this treat at all. Honestly they kind of stunk!

2. Delca Jester Ball ($9)

This toy was a Huge hit! My dog Sam is still playing with it as I type. This is a nice soft toy that squeaks.

3. Butcher's Block Bully Stick ($4)

This was also a huge hit. Sam ate this very fast though. So it's not something good for long periods of chewing. According to the paper, this bully stick is 100% digestible.

4. Harry Barker Stuffed Mardi Gras Mask with Rope ($14)

Ok I really thought my big guy would enjoy this toy. It was a big miss! This toy also has a squeaker. I don't know why he didn't enjoy it..Oh well...Can't win them all!

5. Le Petit Treat King Cake Biscuit ($6)

I must admit this box is cute! The treats inside are peanut butter flavored. They were also created just for Bark Box!
These tasty dog treats are made with human grade ingredients. (No I didn't taste them, Sam just said they were good)
These were also a big hit. They are a little bit on the hard side, so I think Sam enjoyed that.

Over all, I believe Sam really enjoyed this Bark Box. He really didn't care for the Jambalaya treats, or the Mardi Gras Mask toy.
I am still very happy with Bark Box. I love the fact that 10% of their profits goes to Dogs in need. I still wish you didn't have to pay upfront though!

Ulta Haul

I hope everyone had an Amazing Valentine's Day! I sure did. My awesome husband took me to Ulta for a shopping spree. I spent way too much money, but had a blast! Here are some of the products I picked up.

I finally picked up the Too Faced Chocolate Bar Eye shadow collection. I have been debating on buying this..I love my Too Faced Mascara, but the cost of this shadow collection was making me not want to buy it. It's $49! Super Super expensive! Honestly though, I'm really enjoying it! The formula of the eye shadow's is super smooth. It does have a chocolate scent, which I just think is funny. I'm really happy,  I went ahead and bought this collection.

Of course while shopping in the Too Faced section, I ran across this Power Foundation. It's called Cocoa Powder Foundation. Yes this also smells like Chocolate! It's not a strong scent, thankfully. I bought this in Light Medium. I must say, I'm in LOVE...
I recently ran out of my Physicians formula powder. And of course I think they have changed the formula of it, so I have been on the hunt for a new foundation.
This foundation is amazing. It's so silky smooth, and just blends in so well. It is also on the expensive side, but totally worth it!

Of course since I bought eyes shadow and foundation I needed some new brushes! These beauties are by Real Techniques. The gold is from their Core collection. The kit includes.....A Detailer brush, Pointed Foundation brush, Buffing brush, and a Contour brush. If you can't tell, I have already been using these brushes. I am really enjoying them. They are smooth and 100% Cruelty Free!

I couldn't leave without buying the eye shadow brushes. This is Real Techniques starter kit. It includes... A Base shadow brush, Accent brush, Pixel pointed eyeliner brush, and a Brow brush. I could live without the eyeliner brush. It's a little thin and hard for me to use. Other than that one brush, I really like the others! They are also so smooth and just easy to use!

I have been hearing a Lot about the Body Shop, Body Butter's. I have been blowing them off, thinking they were just some fruity smelling lotion that wouldn't really work. I have to admit...I was wrong...
I picked up the Strawberry...I Love the scent (hubby hates it!). I dug into this, Saturday night. I put it all over my feet, and arms. When I woke up the next morning, my skin was so soft! I was blown away. I couldn't believe how soft my skin was from this "fruity lotion". The formula is really rich and creamy. It's not something I would use during the day. I don't like my skin to be so creamy all day, but gosh use this at night and it does wonders!

Ok Last up ( I told you I spent a fortune) I bought these Essence Lipsticks and a lip liner. I really like these a lot. They are super creamy and last a very long time. The colors I picked up are...#15 Oh so Matt, #16 I am Yours, and #07 Natural Beauty. The lip liner is #12 Wish me a rose.

So what did you guys do for Valentine's Day? Anything fun?

Cetaphil Moisturizing Cream

Ok so if you have read some of my posts, you know I have super dry skin! One of my Amazing readers recommended I give Cetaphil a try. I've heard some people say it works great, and others say not so much. Well for the past 2 weeks or so, I have been using this moisturizer on my face.

I must say this has actually been working on my face. I no longer have super dry patches! My makeup goes on so much smoother now, and over all my face looks a little bit healthier.

Now this moisturizer is super thick, and the jar is huge! It's going to take me Forever to go through all of this, but hey that's a huge plus!
When you first put this on, it's thick and you can really feel this on your face. I do not like being able to feel anything on my skin. I have super sensitive skin to begin with, but with this...the heavy feeling goes away quickly. It doesn't leave your face super shinny either!

Over all, I'm really happy with this moisturizer. Special Shout Out to my reader who recommended this to me. You didn't leave your name, only email address. Thank you so much!

Try The World...February 2015

I'm so excited to be writing this post. My husband and I have been debating for a few months now to subscribe to this box. Well I couldn't pass it up, once I saw the coupon! Try the World was offering a Venice box and a free Paris box. So of course I subscribed right then.

Let me first tell you a little bit about this box. Try the world is a gourmet subscription box, that ships every 2 months. The subscription I chose cost $39 every 2 months. There are other payment choices. You can subscribe for 6 months for $105. That will save you about 10 percent off of each box. That box will come to $35 a box.
Then they offer a yearly subscription which is a 15 percent savings. That box will cost $198 a year, and comes to only $33 a box.

Each box will be from a different part of the world. My box is from Venice, and my next will be Paris. They offer boxes from all kind of places like, Istanbul and Tokyo. Seriously how fun is that!

Let's get on to my box!

The first item I have is Perugina Dark Chocolate Limoncello. This is such a delicious chocolate bar! I do not like dark chocolate at all, but I'm in love with this bar. It's premium dark chocolate with natural lemon flavor. When they say natural lemon flavor, they are not joking! This chocolate bar, really does taste like it has lemon in it. Sooooo Yummy! It's not that nasty artificial lemon flavor!

Ok I have Domori Amarene. Let me sum this up for you. It's Cherry chocolate treats. They are dark chocolate little balls with cocoa dusting, and a cherry in the middle. I honestly did not like these at all. The cherry in the middle, was really good but I didn't enjoy the chocolate. My husband didn't either. Oh well, not everything will be a hit!

Up next is Don Peppino, Cracker. These are Mediterranean crackers with flavors of oregano or rosemary. I hate oregano and these really taste of it. So not something I enjoy. According to my cheat sheet card (Thankfully it comes with the box) These crackers pair well with a range of meats and cheeses. Ok...

Yummy...Next I have La Bandita Di Daniela Mariotti...Pear and Grappa Jam, for those of you who are like me, and are going what???
I have zero clue what grappa is?? But I do know what Pear is! This jam is really good. It has a hint of pear and just this wonderful sweetness to it. Not over powering though. It's really yummy on toast! According to the card this rare jam (rare??) is flavored with feature of brandy that is indigenous to the region of Italy and matches perfectly with most bread and cheeses.

Apicoltura Luca Finocchio....Thousand Flowers Honey
This honey comes from Tornarreccio, the honey capital of Europe. This honey is really thick and wonderful! It's very sweet and of course is yummy on toast!

Monte Pollino...Red Pepper Tapenade (Hot)
Hot and sweet read peppers that have soaked up plenty of Italian sunshine make up the base of this fiery relish. This smells really good, but looks like pure crap! So ignore the look of it and just go with the taste.

Last up was a Mystery treat.
I received 2, 2fl oz White Truffle Oil. There really wasn't much information on this, other than it's white truffle oil. I'm going to have to find something to make with this. I have always wanted to try Truffles so, this works for me!

All in All, I am really happy with this box! It gave me things I would not normal buy for myself and all of it comes from Italy. How fun is that seriously!

If you are interested in signing up for this box, you can find the link Here. If you use that link you will recieve $15 off of your 1st box!
