I ordered their Valentines's 2 pack. You get to choose from 16 different flavors. I decided on Salted Caramel, and Cupid's Vanilla Confetti.
The cupcakes are packed really well. It doesn't seem like, there is any chance they would break! Which is Awesome! With the Valentine's order, you were able to choose your receive by date. They don't guarantee it, but mine arrived when I choose.
They even ship you two spoons!
Ok So I couldn't wait to taste them! I started off with Salted Carmel
(Ok seriously Ignore my feet in the picture, opps!)
Here is a quick description of the Salted Carmel, from Wicked Good Cupcake's Website.
A vanilla cupcake layered between drizzles of homemade caramel sauce and our amazing sea salted cream cheese, butter cream, caramel frosting. Sprinkled with white nonpareils.
So this flavor was pretty good. You can really taste the caramel and butter cream. I'm not a huge fan of butter cream, but my husband is. The cupcake was moist, which was one of my concerns.
Now on to the Cupid's Vanilla Confetti
(Ugh my feet are in this one too! *Note to self, learn how to take pictures!)
Here's the Description from the Wicked Good Cupcake's Website
We’ve dressed up our vanilla cake with pink and red confetti baked right in! We layered vanilla cake between swirls of pink, vanilla buttercream frosting and topped it off with pink and red jimmies. Fun!
I liked this one a lot more than the Salted Caramel! I'm more of a fan of vanilla cake. The butter cream frosting didn't seem as strong in this jar.
The jars the cupcakes are put into are super cute. Wonder what I can do with them??
All in All, these are pretty good, but I don't think they are worth the money. I hate to say this because I do feel bad, but they are expensive! My husband about had a stroke when I told him how much I paid. My cost was a little over $26 with shipping and taxes. That's a lot of boxes of cake mix I could buy!
The Plus of these cupcakes are, they are homemade, baked and packed the day they ship, and they come in super cute jars (with spoons!).
What do you think? Would you buy these?
If you are interested in buying some Here is a link to their website.
