BirchBox February 2015

I was so excited when I got my Birchbox this month! I was really hoping for some fun Valentine's stuff. I was a bit disappointed. The box was cute but didn't scream Valentines Day, like I really hoped. Anyway, here is what I received:

1. Amika Nourshing Mask. Full size sells for $28 (OUCH!)
2. Benefit Cosmetics, Sugarbomb ultra plush lip gloss. Full size sells for $16
3. Juice Beauty, Green Apple cleansing gel. Full size sells for $26
4. Marcelle, Gentle Makeup Remover for sensitive eyes. Full size sells for $15
5. Sumita, Color contrast eyeliner. Full size sells for $11-21

Let's start off with the Amika, Nourishing Mask. This is pretty nice. I do really enjoy face mask's as you have seen. This one is thick and doesn't have a strong smell. 

Benefit Cosmetics Sugar bomb lip gloss. Not my color at all. It does have some nice shimmer through out. It is very creamy but you can really feel it on your lips. I do not like that at all. It does wear off after a short period of time, but I have to admit it leaves your lips feeling quite smooth. Maybe I will wear this one??

Juice Beauty cleansing gel. Ok first off this does Not smell Any thing like green apple! It's a very thick, sticky gel. I don't care for this at all. 

Marcelle Makeup remove. I'm sooooo happy to receive a makeup remove for sensitive eyes. Almost every makeup remover I have tried, has left my eyes red and burning. This formula is also suitable for contact lens wearers. Yay!
I gave this a try and I'm sad to say...It didn't work for me at all. It didn't remove any of my eye makeup. It did leave my eyes feeling soft. It slightly irritated my eyes, but not as bad as others I have tried. 

Last but not least, Sumita eyeliner...Ok really Birchbox..Blue?? No...Why on earth would you send me a BLUE eyeliner?? Blue eyeliner does NOT look good on me at all. Overlooking the color this eyeliner was nice. It goes on super smooth but does not wear well. It smudges very quickly. 

Blue really???

All in All, I'm not so happy with my Birchbox this month. Maybe I'm too picky? Who knows, but I was really hoping for some Valentines related products. At least something I could wear that day!!
