Instyler Max ~Wet to Dry~

I have been wanting to try an Instyler rotating iron for the longest time. I am forever seeing the infomercial at night on TV. So I caved in and got one. Gosh they are expensive! I think I'm just cheap...

Anyway I bought the Wet to Dry iron. I hate to blow dry my hair. I have super thick, long hair. So when I blow dry, it takes me forever and I swear I end up looking like a poodle. My hair no matter what brand or products I use, still ends up a poofy hot mess! So I really hoped this iron would work for me. I mean come on who doesn't want a blow dryer/flat iron, all in one?? Saves you a lot of time right??

I was so excited to give this a try. I came home, jumped into the shower and plugged this bad boy in. Now I did towel dry my hair a bit before I gave this a shot. There is no way, soaking wet hair would work with this iron. It would take you Forever!

This bad boy heated up fast!   Because I have such thick hair, I put it into a bunch of small sections. And it took me Forever to get my hair dry....Ugh...Ok so I ended up just blow drying my hair...Ok no big deal, I figured it wouldn't dry my hair anyway...

So let's skip the drying part and just try to straighten my hair instead....Back to a bunch of tiny sections...Seriously an hour later (and a couple of check ins by my husband, because I was in the bathroom so long)  my hair was straight.

Please don't get me wrong, this iron Did in fact straighten my hair. It just took me freaking Forever!
I had to do each section at least 3 times, which does become a pain in the butt. I guess if my hair wasn't as thick...I don't know. My flat iron I use now, it takes me maybe 10 minutes to get my hair straight. Which with a 2 month old baby, is a lot more convenient than 1 hour.

Other than Time my only complaint is my hair got stuck in the rotating part...Can we say Ouch...

What does everyone think? Any one else given this Rotating Iron a try?
