On to the book. I enjoyed most of this book. By the end I was seriously ready for it to be over. I was in Love with the setting of this story. The main character Tilda moves to a secluded Welsh cottage with a beautiful lake near by (at least in my mind it was beautiful), Then weird things start to happen, so on and so on. I don't want to ruin the story for you guys! The story also follows another woman Seren who lived in Celtic times by the same lake. Her story is one that started to get a little old and a little weird. I Hate the way her story ended though! I read it and was just like freaking really, but what happened, why is there no more information?? You will understand what I mean when you read this book.
When I'm reading a book I like to feel like I'm in the story. I like to imagine the place where the story is set. With this book I was able to do that. I could see the cottage, the lake, and the characters in my mind. But like I said, by the end I was ready for it to be over. Paula Brackston's writing seems to always include 1 main character from the present and 1 from the past. Sometimes this gets to be confusing, but not with her writing. You are able to keep up and not confuse who is who. Huge plus for me. On to the Next!
